Ok, I admit this is not my first blog post, but the first blog post on this site. I’m thrilled about the Orchard CMS and Blog system from Microsoft and I’m looking forward to setting it up properly, styling it and most important of all: blogging about my interests.
A little about my self
My name is Henrik (if you hadn’t figured that out yet:). I’m 38 and living in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I work as a senior developer and manager in Saxo Bank. This is a great job, where I get the chance to dive into architecting and developing enterprise size distributed systems.
My spare time is, among other things, used to study for my Private Pilot License (PPL), which I expect to achieve sometime during 2011. I love flying and want to take it to a new level. I also like to play the piano – not that good yet, but getting there.
Anywho, my almost 20 years in the IT business has tought me the following:
